They stay within their four walls all day, staring at the ceiling, then again in front of themselves. Sleeping and eating. There are horrific reports of bush fires on screens. The koalas at Leipzig Zoo are safe; lonely. For a few days now, visitors have been allowed back into the zoo. From Friday, May 15th, Sebastian Jung’s intimate, multimedia installation can be visited in a private atmosphere at fructa space. “Die Koalas im Leipziger Zoo sind sicher; einsam” is a contemplation on perseverance.
