The hand painted signs of Honest Ed’s

Forget those expensive hand painted signs for now, check out this piece from Torontoist about a man named Wayne Reuben and a man named Douglas who hand paint grocery store signs for Honest Ed’s. It’s not a glorious job and as the years go on, more and more of these hand painted signs disappear from existence, but it’s nice to know that some folks still prefer this over more blandly printed alternatives.
