Mia Middleton is a Sydney based artist whose practice spans painting and installation. Drawing on symbol and myth, Mia’s work questions the boundaries between human and non-human, conscious and subconscious, physical and ephemeral. Her surrealist compositions infer a folkloric theatricality, spinning a web of ciphers that explore themes of interiority, potency and power.

Mia's work has been exhibited at galleries nationally and abroad, including Ankles (Sydney), Kings (Melbourne), CICA Museum (Korea), Aici Acolo (Romania), Homesession (Barcelona) and ADAF (Athens). After completing two international art residencies in 2018, Mia was in residence with the Seoul Museum of Art until March 2020.

Jennifer Mathews lives and works in Adelaide. Working in the medium of sculpture, her artworks combine assemblage and woodworking techniques to create freestanding and relief sculptures. Through use of found objects and architectural motifs, her work creates intrigue beyond familiar surfaces. She received a BFA (Honours) from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2016 and a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of South Australia in 2015.

Recent solo exhibitions include Humble, Disneyland Paris, 2020, Pheromone trap, c3 contemporary artspace, 2019, Disinfested estate, Tributary Projects, 2019 and Interrupted meal, Irene Rose, 2018. Recent group exhibitions include Friends and Family, Daine Singer, 2019, hous, George Paton Gallery, 2019 and Smoke Screens, LON Gallery, 2018.
