This show features recent drawings by Dasha Shishkin. The bodies in her works dance, enjoy, smoke, read… they stare at us.

Some have eyes on the back, chest, butt and heels. They close them when they are tired.

It is curious that we are not aware of the act of looking until someone looks at us. How many possibilities are there in the distance between two points?


Bio

Dasha Shishkin (b. 1977, Moscow, Russia) lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
