0141 is the first solo exhibition at Frutta Gallery by artist France-Lise McGurn, featuring her new works. Working predominantly with drawing and painting, France-Lise McGurn is internationally renowned for her ephemeral and deftly overlapped bodies, painted with the single line of her brush.

France-Lise McGurn (1983) lives and works in Glasgow. She completed a BA hons at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art an MA at the Royal College of Art in London. Recent Exhibitions include: Foundation Painting Show, The British Heart, as part of Glasgow International (2018); (X) A Fantasy, David Roberts Art Foundation, London (2017); Rabbit, Recent Activity, Birmingham (2017); Archaos, Alison Jacques Gallery, (2017); Virginia Woolf, an exhibition inspired by her writings, a travelling exhibition curated by Laura Smith (Tate St.Ives; Pallant House, Chichester; and the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge); and a commissioned wall painting in the central stairwell of Tate St. Ives which is still currently on show (2017-2018). She has also produced an editioned print which will be available as part of Frieze projects and Mount street during this years Frieze art fair, London.
