Russian Criminal Tattoos
The tattoo of a prisoner nicknamed ‘Shaly’ [Crazy]. Known as ‘Eve pestering Adam’ this theme was common in the remote camp sites, corrective labour colonies and camps in Siberia in the 1940s & 1950s.
